Innovact 2009
Innovact 2009, the 13th such forum, had to find the best compromise for using each square metre of the Reims Conference Centre to meet the very high demand of exhibitors and start-ups attending, around which the participants flocked over the 2 days of the forum. It all paid off: with an openness of mind and exhibition area, which was light and airy: “a highly successful and wonderfully organised event” according to Olivier Sanviti, a partner at the Gramond & Associés law firm, who spoke at the practical workshops.

- 200 start-ups
- 2,300 participants
- Increasing numbers of participants from Europe and further afield, with 15% of them harking from countries outside France: from Belgium to Canada!
- 654 business meetings held during the 48 hours of the Forum! Innovact has become the place for doing business and making the most of every last minute

A distinctive sign of Innovact, an atmosphere and friendly exchange that hold strong even in times of crisis: a fresh “wave” of optimism washed over Reims and the participants during the 2 days of active and optimistic exchange. With this event, the Reims▪Epernay CCI has yet again proven the region’s dynamism, and capacity to become a reference for entrepreneurship and innovation in Europe. Many participants said so!
